400-level LAUTECH student found dead days after being declared missing

Oluwatobi Ogunmola, a 400-level student at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, was reported missing and later found dead.

Ogunmola was proclaimed missing during the week.

A campus source told reporters that his body was found hanging in a bush at Gambari in Ogbomoso, in the state’s Surulere Local Government.

It was said that Ogunmola, a student in the institution’s Physics Department, was also a mobile phone technician and a solar system consultant.

A Facebook companion of the late Ogunmola, Adeleke Abel Ayoade, in a post on his page, composed a recognition for feel for the troubled family.

Ayoade wrote, “We sympathize with the family of Ogunmola Taiwo on the death of (their) son who was found dead in a time like this.” Everyone was shocked by the death, particularly Gambari residents in Ogbomoso.

“Very reserved and calm brother. We ask God to console the family and allow the deceased’s soul to rest,” he continued.
