Floods, High Water Levels Affect Regions Across Canada Over Long Weekend

As the snow from the previous winter melts, areas of Canada are either preparing for floods or already experiencing flooding. For the week of April 10, “warmer than normal” temperatures were predicted by the Weather Network.

On April 8, a meteorologist named Tyler Hamilton stated that a ridge of high pressure was likely to raise temperatures in almost all of Canada, with the exception of Atlantic Canada, where a weather system east of Newfoundland was predicted to lower them.

According to Hamilton, the temperature in Alberta and Saskatchewan will be close to 20 degrees, but the temperature in Manitoba will be lowered by persistently low clouds and a widespread snowpack.
