Tweeps have sparked a debate on Twitter comparing Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy to American rapper Future.
According to a tweet from a Nigerian Twitter user on July 3, Grammy-winning Nigerian act Burna Boy is a bigger artist than Grammy-winning American act Future, but Africans wouldn’t know because Africa has yet to learn how to monitize music.

The tweet sparked a long debate debate and many a Twitter user supported that Burna Boy is the bigger artist between the two.
According to one tweep, he argued that Future is only bigger than Burna outside America. He cited certifications earned and shows sold out by Burna Boy as proof.
