Moonbin, K-pop star dies at age of 25 in suspected suicide

The record label of K-pop artist Moonbin has revealed that he passed away at the age of 25.

Moonbin, a 25-year-old K-POP star, was found dead in his apartment, according to South Korean police.

According to YonHapNews Television, his manager discovered his body at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 8.10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18.

The boy band Astro and its subgroups Moonbin and Sanha made the singer, actor, dancer, and model famous.

He is accepted to have been found after he didn’t turn up for practices.

Conceived named Moon Receptacle, he was important for the first arrangement for Astro, appearing with five different vocalists in 2016.

The gathering’s hits included Treats Sugar Pop, The entire Evening, Insane Provocative Cool and Blue Fire.

Astro’s record name Fantagio Music, in an explanation that was likewise shared on the band’s Instagram, said: ‘ Moonbin, an Astro member, abruptly left us on April 19 and became a star in the night sky.

“The Astro members who have been with us for a long time, as well as our Fantagio fellow artists and executives, are deeply mourning the deceased in great sadness and shock, even though it cannot be compared to the grief of the bereaved families who lost their beloved sons and brothers.”

“The sudden news to the fans who have supported Moonbin and sent him generous love is even more heartbreaking.”

“I am more heartbroken because I know the deceased loved and thought more about his fans than anyone else,” she said.

They added that his friends, family, and coworkers would attend the private funeral.

Due to health issues, he took a break in 2019, but he made a comeback in 2020 to perform with the group once more.

He co-released the album Incense with fellow Astro singer Sanha on January 4, and the two were scheduled to play in Macau on Saturday.

Event organiser Lumina Entertainment reports that the tour date scheduled for May 13 in Jakarta, Indonesia, has now been postponed.

“We have to cancel this event, after much deliberation and consideration, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that we could not avoid,” they stated.
