WAEC scratch card reportedly confirms Sanwo-Olu submitted fake GCE result to INEC, Jandor reacts

The People’s Democratic Party and its candidate for governor, Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor), have accused Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the candidate for governor of Lagos state, of fabricating a GCE score.

They asked the Lagos governorship election petition tribunal to invalidate Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu‘s victory as governor due to an alleged fake GCE result by disqualifying him.

The petition provided the following explanation: “It was then discovered that a statement of result issued by Ijebu Ife Community Grammar School, Ijebu-Ife for May/June 1981 GCE O’Level examination with examination number 17624/118, which he submitted for his first term election as governor of the state was not confirmed by WAEC.” This statement was submitted for the candidate’s first term.

“When JANDOR and PDP went to WAEC for confirmation, they were told to buy the scratch card for verification of the WAEC result scratch card. This proved that the results did not come from WAEC. It came back as a false positive.
