In the Banana Island area of Lagos state, a seven-story building collapsed, causing many workers to suffer beneath the rubble.
On April 12, it was reported that the building, which was still under construction, collapsed. Additionally, it was discovered that some workers are currently ensnared in the rubble.
In a brief statement, the Lagos state National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed the incident.
“A report of a story working under development was simply gotten at Banana Island. Workers are stuck. We are mobilizing to respond, according to the statement.
Social media users have expressed their deepest sympathies and offered prayers for the unfortunate victims.
